his mother's car is in stable
condition.
Police say the child is awake,
improving and expected to recover from
his head injuries.
Officers say 35 year old Deborah

A few minutes after the bucket truck
pulled in, powered up and extended -
the technican reached "the scaredy cat"
and put it safely in a cat carrier,
(nats here?) where the animal placed
its feet firmly on the ground for the
first time in five-days....

efforts started just before 10:30 in
the morning. For the first try of the
day arborist Jamie Crowder volunteered
his time to scale 60-feet up the tree
and at one point was eye to eye with it
until the cat backed onto a thin limb
which barely seemed to hold it.

her college volleyball at Lenoir Rhyne
in Hickory, North Carolina.

all-state honors.
