The shooting happened in the street in
front of the girl's Clayton Estate's
home. You can still see bullet holes in
a family car.

robbing an Amherst County convenience

a clerk at the Apple Market on Route 29
to rob the store while she was working.

A deputy stopped their getaway car
a short while later after noticing the
trunk wasn't closed ... he then spotted

in the vehicle.

All four defendants who pleaded
guilty to robbery and firearms charges
today are expected to testify against
the clerk at her trial next month.

about a dozen of these lighters away
from passengers.

45 day grace period that ended today.

It's already against the law to
have lighters in checked baggage
because they might start fires in cargo
areas.

Congress passed a bill last

that wrecked yesterday has died.

State police say Mark Bryant was
on an exit ramp off 581 last night when
his rig hit a guardrail, crossed four
lanes of traffic and smashed into a
utility pole.

The 36-year-old Roanoke man was

The 43 year old is a Jim Calhoun
protege who won 58 games the past three
seasons with the Blue Demons.

Leitao signed a six year deal
with Depaul last season worth 660

would have to buy out that contract
reportedly for around 2 million
dollars.
