chili is under arrest.

Jose today, authorities said the
woman's claim appears to be part of an
elaborate hoax -- and they're charging
the woman with attempted grand larceny
in connection with the episode.
They say the truest victims in the
case are the restaurant's operator and
employees who've suffered financially.
Police say Wendy's franchises in the
region have lost two and a-half million
dollars since Anna Ayala made the
claim.
Ayala said she was in San Jose
when she bit into the finger in a
mouthful of Wendy's Restaurant chili.
The president and C-E-O of
Wendy's says the campany is "thrilled
that an arrest has been made."

Rain, hail and twisters uprooted
trees, flipped vehicles and waterlogged

Residents were cleaning up the

out everything" so he said he was just
going to "push it all in a pile, clean
it up and start over."

They've created the world's
largest mound of "Baked Alaska" ice
cream.
They say the mound represents
the environmental damage drilling in
the Alaska wildlife preserve would
cause.
The finished product weighs more
than 14-hundred pounds.
The "baked alaska" was made from
"Ben and Jerry's" fossil fuel flavored
ice cream, cake, and more than a
hundred pounds of marshmallow cream.
