man told police that's what happened to
him at a city intersection.

abducted at 13th street and Patterson
Avenue, Southwest. Police say he was
not hurt.

Police say the carjacking call came
at 3:30 this morning ... about the
same time as a robbery at this Exxon

Roanoke city's prostitution crackdown.

Last Thursday Police say they made a total of 19
arrests last week related to
prostitution.

It's all part of the department's
latest campaign to crack down on
prostitution -- called Operation Red
Light.

Officials say the problem is mostly
within the city's southwest
neighborhoods.

They hope by eliminating
prostitution, they can also do away
with other crimes.

Operation Red Light is now in its
second phase.

It is expected to continue
throughout the summer.

of the Hardy Road Trailer Park.

He's charged with polluting a
tributary of the Roanoke River.

November 2004 State and Federal authorities
allege a sewage lagoon at the trailer
park routinely discharged sewage into
Sandy Creek for years and that he
ignored orders to fix it.

Cooper's lawyer says Cooper tried
"at considerable expense" to put in a
septic system, but the state wouldn't
give him a discharge permit.

Attorney Paul Thompson says
Cooper tried to find a low-tech
alternative, but that with Cooper's

limited education it didn't work.

several sightings of a wanted man over
the weekend, but he is STILL on the
loose tonight.

run since Friday.

That's when police tried to
arrest him on felony warrants ranging
from robbery to drugs.

the NFL - but who could have guessed
where he would end up.

This afternoon the Atlanta
Falcons inked Randall to a free agent
deal meaning that among other things he
will continue to play in the shadow of

Randall was undrafted over the
weekend and he's one of four Hokies to
ink free agent deals since the end of

Pulaski County finally has a new
animal shelter.

The shelter's been open for about
two weeks now and officials say they
are already placing more animals.

The facility sits on two acres
and has more kennels for dogs and a
spay and neuter clinic.

There's even a cat condo, an
outdoor walking area and an education
room for school groups to come and
tour.
