It took police about two hours to
corral a herd of buffalo that got loose
and wandered into a neighborhood,
disrupting traffic and alarming
residents.
Several major traffic arteries were
shut down as police tried to anticipate
which way the buffalo would roam.
Police used 13 cars and a helicopter
to herd the animals onto the tennis
courts of an apartment complex.
A police spokesman said officers had
to master the art of buffalo herding on
the job, and credited them praised
their creativity.

Knights vs. Spartans The threat of rain didn't dampen
:00 the fans' enthusiasm as most came
dressed for the wet stuff, which
actually held off until the second
half.
We pick it up in the first half.
Salem with the corner kick and Michael
Maxey will place it perfectly to Grant
Hall who cranks it in for the
1-to-nothing lead as the Spartans take
the early lead.
But the Knights would rally back
later in the half. There's a loose
ball on the field, and Sam Hiatt will
scoop it up and with no one in sigh,
and t he will just barely get it in for
the goal. We're tied at 1-all.
