:00 Duke's Sheldon Williams has
decided to come back for his senior
season with the Blue Devils.

The All-American center averaged
double figures in both rebounding and
scoring last season.

His return means that coach Mike
Krzyzewski will have back both of his
all-Americans next season in Williams
and J.J. Redick along with a wicked

freshman class of recruits.

GRAPHIC=bam Finally tonight - William and

Mary is one of 30 colleges of
Universities around the country that is
being ordered by the NCAA to examine
its athletic

nickname.
TAKE FS GFX TAKE FS GFX

The NCAA is concerned about the
use of American Indian logos, mascots
and nicknames that some might consider
offensive.

William and Mary must complete a
self-analysis by May 1st, but you would
think the Tribe name and logo are both
safe.

One of the things the NCAA wants
to know is the origin of the nickname
and its history as it relates to the
specific campus. That's pretty obvious
in the Williamsburg - Jamestown area.

William and Mary says it has not
had any problems or complaints in the
past.

A *herd* of buffalo got loose in
Pikesville, Maryland this morning,
wandering around an upscale
neighborhood.

Police closed a section of the
Baltimore beltway and several other
major

roads while they tried to anticipate

the herd's movements and round

them up.

The animals were finally
corralled on a tennis court.

Police aren't saying where they
came from -- though they believe they
know.
