GRAPHIC=Accident One northbound lane of Route 220 in

Franklin County remains closed this
morning following a tractor trailer
accident.

It happened around 6-thirty last

night near Rocky Mount.

State Police say the tractor trailer
was heading northon Route 220 when it
rounded a curve too fast, causing its
load to shift.

The shifting weight caused the
driver to lose control of the truck,
and it overturned covering the highway
with P-V-C pipe.

Police say the driver from North
Carolina will be charged with reckless
driving.

He was not injured.

former pet crematory in Knoxville,
Tennesse, in connection to 150 dead
dogs found in southwest Virginia.

over an embankment at a dead end road
near Gate City.

Most of the carcasses were in
bio-hazard bags.

Now officials in Scott County,
Virginia, Tennessee, and the F-B-I are
all investigating the RossAnne Services
crematory.

RossAnn had an agreement with a
veterinary clinic to incinerate the
carcasses.

RossAnn was also shut down in
April after an inspector found several
dead dogs inside.

operator offices as they search for
clues to what caused

yesterday's deadly commuter train
crash.

believe Stewart may have violated her

week for work related purposes.

Roanoke city's prostitution crackdown.

arrests last week related to
prostitution.

It's all part of the department's
latest campaign to crack down on
prostitution -- called Operation Red
Light.

Officials say the problem is mostly
within the city's southwest

prostitution, they can also do away
with other crimes.

Operation Red Light is now in its
second phase.

It is expected to continue

Franklin County last night will affect
the morning commute.

State Police say one northbound lane of
Route 220 near Rocky Mount remains
closed..

State Police say the tractor trailer
was heading north on Route 220 when it
rounded a curve too fast, causing its
load to shift.

The shifting weight caused the
driver to lose control of the truck,
and it overturned covering the highway

Police say the driver from North
Carolina will be charged with reckless
driving.

He was not injured.

involved in a minor accident with a
dump truck on Bent Mountain Road.

It happened around two forty-five
yesterday, when bus number forty-five
and the truck struck mirrors as they
passed each other.

The driver of the truck was
hospitalized for injuries received from
glass.

No injuries were reported to the
elementary students on the bus or the
bus driver.

emergency crews in Pittsylvania County
to clear yesterday's tanker truck
accident.

gallons of liquid oxygen ran off Route
29 and flipped onto its side just south
of Gretna around three a-m.

The driver suffered minor injuries
.. he's been charged with failing to

Some of the liquid oxygen escaped
through a safety valve, but authorities
say there was no risk to the public.

They spent the day transferring
most of the material to another truck
before using air bags to get it upright
again.

Authorities say "no" hazardous material

Carolina will be charged with reckless

He's charged with polluting a
tributary of the Roanoke River.

allege a sewage lagoon at the trailer

park routinely discharged sewage into
Sandy Creek for years and that Cooper
ignored orders to fix it.

Cooper's lawyer says Cooper tried
"at considerable expense" to put in a
septic system, but the state wouldn't
give him a discharge permit.

Attorney Paul Thompson says
Cooper tried to find a low-tech
alternative, but that with his limited
education it didn't work.

near Rocky Mount remains closed this
morning following an accident last
night.

State Police say a tractor trailer
rounded a curve too fast, causing its
load to shift.

The shifting weight caused the
driver to lose control of the truck,
and it overturned covering the highway
with P-V-C pipe.

ENG#2 Authorities are investigating a former

pet crematory in Knoxville, Tennessee,
in connection to 150 dead dogs found
near Gate City in March.

The RossAnn Services crematory had an
agreement with a veterinary clinic to
incinerate the carcasses.

RossAnn was also shut down in April
after an inspector found several dead
dogs inside.
