GRAPHIC=News 7 Mornin' Virginia needs to clean up its act.

That's what many travelers have to
say about the state's rest areas.

Justin McLeod shows us how big the

While traveling on Virginia's
highways, there's a good chance you'll
pull into one of the state's 41 rest

So are they worth the trip?

OQ=they're rough He may be right.

At the Ironto rest stop on I-81, we

found broken water fountains, busted
fences, and faded signs.

However, the bathrooms are
modernized.

In Troutville, it's a different
story. The bathrooms have old sinks and
cracked walls.

Outside, the picnic tables are in bad
shape and there is very little parking.
