about her appearance in a

rebuttal program that aired on Fox.

On it...Rowe had positive comments
about her former husband.

Bite/Rowe "He's such a fabulous man."

(track) Prosecutors want to know if
those are her true sentiments or if

she was coerced by Jackson.

The aim of that video was to repair
damage to Jackson's image after he

had admitted to sharing his bed with
children.

Bite/ Jim Moret/legal analyst " The
prosecutors are saying that Michael

Jackson personally called Debbie Rowe
and asked her to say certain

things on this video."

Bridge/ Michael Jackson's defense team
says that Debbie Rowe is just out

to get money from the entertainer. She
is locked in a custody battle

with Jackson over their children and is
reportedly upset because he

hasn't paid her alimony for more than a
year

Bite/ Deborah Opri/ Jackson Family
Attorney/ " The line of contention

that the defense has maintained is
there is a quest for money and it is

my understanding that Debbie is no
different.

Taking second billing today...is
Jackson's personal photograher. He's

back for day two. Yesterday he
testified that an aide to Jackson told

him the popstars young accuser and his
two siblings - were not supposed

to leave Neverland. Backing up claims
that alleged victim and his family

were held hostage. But once again -

this witness is locked in a legal

dispute over money with the pop star.

question left is who will the

Prosecution have for their grand
finale in their case against the King

GRAPHIC=WILLIAM & MARY The N-C-double -A is ordering

William and Mary to examine its
nickname -- the Tribe.

29 other schools have been
ordered to do the same.

The NCAA is concerned about
someone being offended by the use of
American Indian logos, mascots and
nicknames that some might consider
offensive.

One of the things that should
allow William & Mary to keep using the
Tribe is that NCAA wants to know the
history of the nickname as it relates

to the specific campus.

Those departures coupled with the
injuries that kept 10 players on the

that Al Groh will be pluggin in some
new faces this fall.

OQ=...news 7 sports < (END SOT) look a lot like the 2004 squad, with

Marques Hagans at QB and a group of
wide receivers that have a lot of raw
talent but will need to translate it
over onto the Football field, They
showed flashes of there brilliance
during the Spring Festival.

(Deyon:

Over on the defensive side of the ball
the secondary was an area of concern
last season and the Orange Crush will
be breaking a pair of new safeties this
upcoming season.)

(Tony Franklin:)

(Standup: With the loss of marquee
players like Heath Miller, Elton Brown,
and Darryl Blackstock from the 2004,
that leaves a void, that younger

players will need to step up and fill
both on and off the field.)

(Long: I think we need leadership.
That is a natural progression

When and Who steps into the leadership
roles will play a big part in how good
the 2005 Virginia Cavaliers can be.
