jail -- after admitting he videotaped
one of his students in the bathroom
without her knowledge.

A Roanoke County judge said he
considered the incident extremely
serious and ordered Michael Lucado
(LUCK-uh-doo) to serve 60 days of a
two- year sentence.

it has an option to buy the course.

The city says it will investigate
the property's land-use potential.

An earlier study found the
18-hole site could accomodate more than
130-single family homes, about

warning students at William and Mary
that their dorm building was on fire
when the alarms failed to work.

The blaze broke out in Preston
Hall just after one o-clock yesterday
afternoon.

More than 140-students were
evacuated.

Students say the alarms finally
rang AFTER everyone was outside.

The fire left huge holes in the
third-floor ceiling and destroyed the
roof.

No one was injured, and the cause
is still under investigation.

left a threatening note in a Bedford
County school.

are out of jail on bond -- after police
say they made a bomb and set it off on
campus.

Nathan R. Johnson, John C.
Boynton and Zachariah Chait were
arrested early Sunday morning.

Police say the group made a
Molotov cocktail in a Pritchard Hall
dorm room.

A security guard says he caught
the students setting the bomb off in a
parking lot behind Cassell Coliseum.

No one was injured and no
property was damaged when the bomb went
off.

The students were arrested and
charged with manufacturing an explosive
device.

school.

The 10-point-eight million dollar
facility features state of the art
classrooms, computer labs and a media
center.

Problems with the contractor have
delayed the school's opening several
times.

The school system hopes to move
teachers and students into the new
facility later this month.

Danville -- one is charged with two
armed robberies last night.

Police say two men entered Little
Ceasars Pizza in the Southwyck Plaza
with a pistol.

They demanded money and left
on foot.

Minutes later, an employee at
Sleep Inn, on South Boston Road called
police to report a robbery.

One man fled on foot in that
incident.

Police found two suspects after
responding to a suspicious car report

at Halifax Court Apartments on Halifax
Road.

One fled on foot, but was caught
by K-9 units.

Police arrested 30 year old
Charles Reginald Davis, of High Point,
North Carolina with two counts of armed
robbery in connection with both crimes.

count of armed robbery in connection
with the incident at Little Ceasars
Pizza.

two weeks, but the search ended last
night in gunfire with police.

and Simmons Road in Christiansburg.

State Police are investigating
and so far they haven't released many
details.

Shane Lee got into this home on Pierce
Street through a side window and made
off with his daughter Sheanya
(shuh-NY-uh).

Her family is concerned for her
safety, but police say they don't think
Lee would harm the girl ... they just
want to talk to him and his mother.
