has been sentenced to a year and two
months in prison for -- having sex
with a 13-year-old student.
Prosecutors say 32-year-old Melissa
Michelle Deel drove from her Tennessee
home to Virginia -- to have oral sex
with the boy in her car outside his
home.
She will be required to register in
Virginia as a sex offender.
Deel, who taught eighth-grade history
at Virginia Middle School in Bristol,
had no prior criminal record.

three people for vandalizing property
downtown.

Officers arrested 18-year old Kurt

All were charged with felony and

River.

the flight crew from the Apache attack
chopper that crashed into power lines
and the river Thursday night.
The chopper came to rest in 20-feet of
water.
