Forest High School may have inspired a
similar incident in Appomattox County
this week.
Officials found a threat in a boys
bathroom at Appomattox Middle School on
Tuesday ... it stated there would be a
school shooting on May 12th, 2005.
Security was increased at the
school today and educators say almost
half the students stayed home.
The school was thoroughly checked
for weapons before classes began but
nothing was found.
Investigators are still running
down leads looking for the person who
wrote the note.

Albemarle County police say Brown
has been
arrested on a misdemeanor gun charge.
Brown was arrested yesterday and
charged with
brandishing a firearm outside of
Charlottesville's Fashion Square mall
on route 29. Sergeant Pam
Greenwood says Brown -- the team's
co-captain last
season -- was released on $15-hundred
dollars bond.
The incident apparently stemmed
from a disagreement over a woman that
has been ongoing since back in January.
