GRAPHIC=none Authorities in Halifax County have
seized bomb materials and chemicals
from a North Carolina man.

Christopher Kent was arrested and
charged with having a concealed weapon.
According to investigators, they
spotted Kent and his vehicle on the
side of Highway-58 -- in the Turbeville
community.
Deputies searched the vehicle and found
weapons, explosive materials, maps and
survival equipment.
Authorities in Raleigh, North Carolina
also found chemicals and land mines at
a storage facility.
Kent is in the Halifax County jail.
He could face more charges.

Thanks to a rally in Dell - after the
world's largest p-c maker said sales
this quarter may beat estimates.
This week, expect profit report cards
from Ann Taylor, Gap and Barnes and
Noble and reports on inflation at the
wholesale and retail level as well as
new home construction.
Gold plated results for Tiffany's. The
luxury jeweler saw profits grow nearly
9 percent last quarter. Strong sales in
the U-S, offset a slump in Japan.
Shock-jock Howard Stern won't be
cruising in a Hyundai anytime soon.
Hyundai recently surveyed 400 customers
as it was deciding whether to choose
Sirius or its rival XM as an option for
its vehicles. The customers said they
didn't want Sirius, because they object
to Howard Stern, who will launch a
radio show on Sirius in January.
Hyundai ultimately decided to go with
XM.. which we be installed in select
Hyundai models this fall.

charges after authorities in Halifax
County found bomb materials in his
vehicle.

Christopher Kent was arrested and
charged with having a concealed weapon.
According to investigators, they
spotted Kent and his vehicle on the
side of Highway-58 -- in the Turbeville
community.
Deputies searched the vehicle and found
weapons, explosive materials, maps and
survival equipment.
Authorities in Raleigh, North Carolina
also found chemicals and land mines at
a storage facility.
Kent is in the Halifax County jail.

seized bomb materials and chemicals
from a North Carolina man.

Christopher Kent was arrested and
charged with having a concealed weapon.
According to investigators, they
spotted Kent and his vehicle on the
side of Highway-58 -- in the Turbeville
community.
Deputies searched the vehicle and found
weapons, explosive materials, maps and
survival equipment.
Authorities in Raleigh, North Carolina
also found chemicals and land mines at
a storage facility.
Kent is in the Halifax County jail.
He could face more charges.
