North Carolina man.

Christopher Kent was arrested and
charged with having a concealed weapon.

According to investigators, they
spotted Kent and his vehicle on the
side of Highway-58 -- in the Turbeville
community.

Deputies searched the vehicle and found
weapons, explosive materials, maps and

Authorities in Raleigh, North Carolina
also found chemicals and land mines at
a storage facility.

Kent is in the Halifax County jail.

He could face more charges.

birthday of the city of Las Vegas.

The cake was 96- thousand pounds by
itself.

The frosting added another 34-

thousand pounds.

The sweet treat also packed a
whopping 23-and-a-half MILLION
calories.

Hundreds of volunteers helped put
the cake together.

Fort Payne, Alabama holds the current
birthday cake record.

Its 128- thousand pound fruitcake was
baked in 19- 89.
