looking for the son of a 60 year old
man found dead from gunshot wounds.

John Julius Tolton of Gladstone
was found yesterday at 4:30. He had
suffered multiple gunshot wounds.

A warrant for first degree murder
has been issued for Tolton's son, 28
year old Moriah Robin Tolton.

GRAPHIC=Shay Ward Police now have a suspect behind

bars -- after a string of burglaries
and violent break-ins terrorized a
central Virginia neighborhood.

VO-NAT 18-year-old Shay William Ward was

arrested Sunday night and now faces
charges in two jurisdictions ranging
from armed robbery to rape.

residents in the Leesville Road area of
Lynchburg and Campbell County ...
holding one homeowner at gunpoint and
raping an elderly woman in her home.

Authorities say they recovered
some of the stolen items from Ward's
home on Greystone Drive.

He recently turned 18.

Now prosecutors want to try him as
an adult.

Tarpley in College Park yesterday.

Tarpley was wanted for the

Defensive Back Brenden Hill is
accused of violating his probation.

According to court documents Hill
tested positive for using marijuana and
failed to report an arrest for driving
without a license.

Mike Imoh pled no contest last year to
contributing to the delinquency of a
minor.

Because of the violations, the
probation officer says Hill should now

supervisors heard a report that the
number of emergency calls has gone up,
while volunteer hours are dwindling.

Charging patients for the rescue
call is one way to generate money that

They've been suspended from

authorities want to know more about 29-
year- old Christopher Kent.

He's the Raleigh, North Carolina
man whose arrest in Halifax County last
Thursday led investigators to find
stockpiles of explosives.

Oregon, served in the military, and

recently lived in North Carolina.

On Thursday night, a routine
check of a parked car on route 58 led
to the discovery of what authorities
describe as a crude homemade bomb.

Later, they found more explosives

to the 4th Combat Engineer Battalion,
4th Marine Division from Roanoke has
been killed in Iraq.

Twenty four year-old Lance Corporal
Jourdan Grez (grezz) was one of four
Marines attached to Camp Lejeune killed
last Wednesday when their vehicle hit
an explosive device.

Grez was a student at James Madison
University and lived in Harrisonburg.
