More than 120-students from Grayson
County High School, Fries freeze and
Independence Middle Schools took a
stand yesterday. Depite a warning that
they would face suspension, the
students protested proposed budget cuts
that would cut eighth grade sports,
teacher raises and new books - among

While the school administrators
appreciate the students' displeasure,
they said they can't condone their
behavior and the punishment will stand.
