Last night, the board of
supervisors fired Craig Teller after
just a year on the job.
It was a 3 to 1 vote with one
absention.
Supervisor Chairman Brian Spencer
was unable to attend the meeting.

now back behind bars.

VO-NAT U-S Marshals in Roanoke say they got an
anonymous tip this morning, that
23-year-old William Clyde Karampour of
Vinton was staying in a room at the
Jefferson Motor Lodge hotel.
A website photographer took these
photos of Karampour's arrest.
Authorities say Karampour got into a
brief, but intense struggle with
deputies, but no one was hurt.
Karampour now faces federal assault
charges.
Franklin County authorities say he had
about two months left on his sentence
when he escaped April 23rd.

coming back to race for David
Letterman.
Kenny Brack, the 1999 Indy 500
winner, returned to Indy today and ran
over 100 laps topping the 225 mile an
hour mark.
Brack, who hasn't raced this
wreck in October of 2003 in Texas, is
filling in for the injured Buddy Rice.

yesterday.
