only doubles' victory.
Surprisingly, Lindsey Hagerman
and Ginny Wortham were beaten in
doubles.
Right now the six singles matches
are taking place - W&L has won one of
those, Emory has picked up two. So,
W&L must win all three of the matches
that are still in progress to win the
national title.

SPEED Bobby Labonte went out in
:00 practice and didn't even make it a lap
on this run.
By his own admission he was
simply trying to go to fast in turns
three and four and he backed the
Interstate Batteries Chevy into the
outside wall.
Labonte was fine, but the team
had to hurry up and get the back-up car
ready to roll.
Kasey Kahne was the first driver
to qualify tonight. We'll have the
starting lineup for your tonight on
News 7 at 11.

Last Week Promoters announced last week the
legendary band would play Scott Stadium
on October 6th.
Tickets went on sale at 10 this
morning at Ticketmaster outlets,
on-line and at U-V-A.
Within about fifteen minutes,
blocks of tickets were sold out and
only single seats were left.
It now appears even those are
gone.
