description of a person of interest in
their effort to solve a three-year old
murder.

Rocky Mount was found raped and
murdered in her Raleigh apartment in
May of 2002.
Bennett had moved to Raleigh
after graduating from Roanoke College.
A 100-thousand dollar reward is

information leading to Bennett's
killer.

talk to a white male, in his late 20s
to early 30s.
The man is about six-feet tall
and was seen near the apartment complex
walking a large dog.

who robbed a fast-food restaurant.
The robbery happened just before 10:30
last night at the K-F-C on Piney Forest
Road.
Police say two men were armed with
handguns, entered the restaurant
through the back door, and demanded
money from employees.
No one was hurt.

Convention.

today in the NCAA Lacrosse semifinals
at Salisbury. The Maroons dropped a 13
to 11 decision and end the season with
just their third loss.
