Authorities say they may
reconstruct the car accident that has
left a Heritage High School student in
critical conditon.

State Police say the 16-year old
girl was at the wheel with a driving

instructor and another student in the
school vehicle when they were struck by
a van near the intersection of Old
Rustburg and Camp Hideaway Roads in
Campbell County.

The accident happened shortly
before 4 yesterday afternoon.

The teacher and another student
suffered minor injuries.

The driver of the van, 37 year

helicopter last night in Iraq, killing
two American soldiers.

A military spokeswoman says the two

pilots were the only ones aboard their
aircraft when it went down.

Another helicopter was hit, but
landed safely.

Both helicopters were responsing to
troops in contact with enemy forces.

shrine near Pakistan's capital.

Digital video recorder pioneer TiVo
said its quarterly loss narrowed from a
year earlier thanks to 319-thosuand new
subscribers that it added last quarter.
Tivo says most of those new subscribers
stemmed from the company's relationship
with DirecTV

Mortgages fell for the seventh time in
the past eight week - a trend that's
helped push sales of both new and
existing homes to record levels.
Mortgage giant Freddie Mac says the
rate on 30-year, fixed-rate mortgages
averaged 5.65 percent that's compared
to 6.32 percent this time last year.

in critical conditon after a car
accident.

school vehicle when they were struck by

Authorities say they may

left a Heritage High School student in

State Police say the 16-year old
girl was at the wheel with a driving
instructor and another student in the
school vehicle when they were struck by
a van near the intersection of Old
Rustburg and Camp Hideaway Roads in
Campbell County.

The accident happened shortly
before 4 yesterday afternoon.

football players on his graduation day.

A Heritage High School student is in
critical conditon after a car accident.

State Police say the 16-year old girl
was at the wheel with a driving

instructor and another student in the
school vehicle when they were struck by
a van yesterday near the intersection
of Old Rustburg and Camp Hideaway Roads
in Campbell County.

Police say it appears the van was on
the wrong side of the road.

A new traffic light in Boones Mill is
controlling traffic at a dangerous
intersection, but so far it's not doing
much to slow down drivers.

Police Chief Lynn Frith said yesterday
he had pulled over just as many
speeders as he had in the past.

today.

The kick-off concert usually takes
place in Victory Stadium, but
organizers decided in October to hold
everything downtown.
