was charged with taking indecent
liberties with a child.

death of her playmate.

steak knife, severing a major artery to

ever to face manslaughter charges in

One discussion focused on the charge
that Jackson gave alcohol to a minor.

The original indictment said Jackson
used liquor to facilitate a felony-

child molestation.

The judge agreed to include the
allegations separately, allowing the
jury to potentially find Jackson guilty
solely on the charge of giving liquor
to a minor, which is a misdemeanor.

benefit the Southwestern Virginia
Second Harvest Food Bank, and nine
other food banks in six states.

Cashiers will also accept smaller
contributions.

Normally, the food bank has
little control over donations, and
officials say the new Kroger program
will help them supplement their
inventory with a variety of nutritious

Reggie White's number 92 at halftime of
their home opener against the Cleveland
Browns. White came to the Packers in
1993 and spent 6 seasons with the team.
He helped Green Bay win a Super Bowl

work for an insurance company in South
Florida. During her tenure at Ferrum,
Doonan had a record of 335 wins and 348
losses. But basketball wasn't the only
sport Doonan coached at Ferrum. She

as serving as Women's Athletic
Coordinator. 4 of her former players
are enshrined in the Ferrum Athletic
Hall of Fame. A national search has
already begun for her replacement.
