probation in another town.

guilty yesterday to one felony count of
embezzlement.


The Commonwealth's Attorney says
the charge stems from October when Bond
started taking money from the Salem
Bojangle's restaurant where she worked.

The judge gave her a five-year
sentence with all but eight-months
suspended.

Her attorney says the sentence
will help Bond get her life back
together.

William Clyde Karampour escaped from
the Franklin County jail April 23rd.

U-S Marshals in Roanoke arrested
him about a month later at the
Jefferson Motor Lodge.

Karampour to certify the escape charge
to a grand jury.

Karampour's attorney is now
asking that his client undergo a
psychological evaluation.

Jae Valley Road and Mount Pleasant
Boulevard is blocked because of an
accident involving a school bus. It's
school bus number 92.

All the kids have been transfered
to another bus and are headed to
William Byrd middle and high schools.
It was a minor accident, and there were
NO student injuries.

Authorities say a fight between the
two ended in murder.

Investigators say 36 year old
Karen Lynn Mills shot her husband, 43
year old Dwight Wayne Mills after a
