Jeremy Butterfield was there as
friends and family all talked about the

Regional Airport, as Katy Bowyer
returned home.

She hasn't seen most of those who
greeted her since mid February.

That's when her Grandfather's
house in Blacksburg caught fire while
Katy was spending the night

Paul Bowyer pulled his
granddaughter from his burning house,
saving her life.

Something that Katy will never
forget.

Katy had severe burns over 55

chlorine leak in Roanoke this
afternoon.

The leak happened at a Water Authority
plant on Bennington Street in SouthEast
Roanoke.

Officials say the leak was contained
quickly, using a chlorine B-kit.

No one was injured.

Authorities also say citizens were
NEVER in any danger.

accident this evening in Bedford
County.

Authorities say 50-year-old Aubrey

Allen Leonard of Vinton was traveling
south on Route 619, when his pickup
truck ran off the road and struck a
tree.

Leonard was pronounced dead at the
scene.

Investigators say he was NOT wearing a
seatbelt.

Regiment of World War Two.

The glider regiment is credited
with capturing two key bridges on
D-Day.

Adam Howard's dad flew one of
those gliders, and although his dad has

off a bridge in suburban *Milwaukee.*

Interstate 794 failed to stop at the
end of a ramp --and smashed through a
concrete barrier.

The car plunged 40 feet to a road
below.

Police say the car burst into flames
when it hit the ground, trapping all

Officials say they are still trying to
identify the bodies and will perform
autopsies on Sunday.

anti-terrorism drill at Logan
International Airport went quote "just
as we hoped."

The drill involved the mock hijacking
of a commercial jet en route from Paris
to Chicago.

F-15 fighter jets intercepted the plane
over the Atlantic Ocean and forced it
to land at Logan in Boston.

During the drill, authorities

negotiated with the hijackers for
almost an hour before a law enforcement
team stormed the plane.

Passengers were evacuated and put on
buses.

The drill, named Operation "Atlas,"
cost roughly 700-thousand dollars and
is being called the first training
drill involving a real *airborne
intercept* of a commercial airliner.

UVA fell 2-1 to Ohio State as the
Buckeyes scored the game winning run in
