Something that didn't happen much
during last year's rainy Festival.
This year however, there were
only two days of spectators huddling
under there umbrellas.

Festival organizers had high hopes that

And with new changes, organizers
say they have high expectations for the

They say the Star city is growing

festival, that might one day have big
name performers, playing under a
permanent amphitheater..

youth program center.
The two-million dollar facility will

activity area, and studios for music,

upscale housing development project.

closed since Valentine's Day could soon
be back in business.

owns the mine, say 400 idled workers
are being told to report back to work
-- and production is expected to resume
by month's end.
The mine was closed after a methane
fire on February 14th.
No one was hurt.
The Buchanan Mine is one of the
nation's top 50 in size and production,
turning out four-point-four MILLION

the polio vaccine -- but it wasn't
developed soon enough for Lawrence
Becker. He was stricken with the polio
virus when he was 13 years old and
spent a year in an iron lung like this
one to breathe.

been released on a 16, 500 dollar bond
after he was arrested last night in
Miami and charged with aggravated
assault with a firearm.

The 22 year old turned himself
into police last night. According to a
police statement, Wednesday Taylor
pointed a gun at an unidentified person

scene but returned 10 minutes later and
punched one person.
It's his 2nd run-in with the law.
He was charged with drunk driving in
October.

Spelling Bee in Washington, DCTERMS.
Minnich returned home this

three trips to the National Spelling
Bee gave him quite an edge against
