Crowe was charged this morning with
throwing a phone that hit a concierge
in the face, cutting the man. His
lawyer says Crowe had trouble getting

his wife on the phone.

He couldn't get a connection in his
room, so he took the

phone to the lobby.

His spokesman said Crowe threw
the phone against the wall, not at the
concierge.

She says Crowe is sorry he lost
his temper, but at no time did he
assault anyone.

A judge released the 41 year old
actor and set a trial date for
September 14.

The flying elephant was taken to
the Smithsonian's National Museum of
American History in DC along with a
giant tea cup from the Mad Hatter's Tea
Party.

The artifacts were taken from
Disneyland rides dating back 1955, the
year the park opened.

Disneyland is celebrating its
50th anniversary this year.

Dumbo and the tea cup will join a
wealth of Americana already featured at
the museum, from the ruby slippers from
Wizard of Oz, Kermit the Frog, and
Julia Child's kitchen.
