five arrest warrants against a Wythe
County woman over a two month span just
before her death.

affidavit's police believe several
pieces of evidence at the scene were
staged.

today show five arrest warrants against
a woman, Dickerson said was harassing
her.

phone calls to trespassing and were
reported to police between September
and October.

Dickerson wrote the woman called her
husband and said, "I'm on my way, I'm

were dropped shortly after Dickerson's
death.
And she has not been officially
named a suspect in the homicide
investigation.

About 500 spaces were lost due to

FreightCar America's began
manufacturing aluminum rail cars in
Roanoke a couple of months ago.
Employees, company officials and
guests watched a new aluminum rail car
roll off the assembly line.

GRAPHIC=VHSL Winning a State Championship is a
dream come true for many athletes,
Graduating High School is a dream come
true for many of the parents of those
athletes. Kendal Martin the lone
senior on the Cave Spring Softball team
had to decide whether to walk in a cap
and gown or try and draw a walk on the
diamond. Travis Wells has her story.

Instead of walking across the stage
with the rest of her Cave Spring
graduating class, Martin has chosen to
pass up the ceremony to join her
teammates in the state semifinal
contest against Dan River, where she
will be behind the plate as the Knights
starting catcher.
KENDAL MARTIN/KNIGHTS STARTING CATCHER:
Martin's father is an avid sports
fan who referees high school and
college football games, in addition to
coaching youth league softball. He
didn't try to influence his daughter's
decision, which he says has been made
for some time.
DEAN MARTIN/KENDALL'S FATHER:
TRAVIS WELLS: Kendall will get her
diploma this weekend in a much
different way than any of her 191
classmates, on the diamond at Radford.
And she wouldn't have it any other way.

The Martin family will entertain
relatives from as far away as Florida
this weekend, who have no doubt packed
outdoor attire, and not dress wear. In

GRAPHIC=HOLD Thanks Travis, the Spring Jubilee
got underway up at Radford this morning
with Singles Tennis action. The Local
Kids didn't have much luck. In Girls
Double "A" action, Loy Campbell of
Blacksburg and Sarah Foley of Bassett
both lost in the semi-finals, as did
Jack Guynn of Galax in Single "A" boys
action. Pablo Farkas made it to the
finals but fell in straight sets in the
Boy's Double "A" tournament.

TAKE VO-NAT Speaking of tournaments the N-B-A's
post-season tournament is down to it's
final 2 and Game 1 of the Spurs-Pistons
series tips off tonight. This is a
match-up of the last 2 N-B-A champions
that come off different series wins.
The Spurs have had a long lay-off after
beating the Suns in 5 games. The
Pistons just finished a 7 game series
against the Heat.
