the verdicts were read.

Some of the women in the jury

One juror says the process was
simple - that they all "just looked at

person, not a star.

The panel says the intense media
attention did not make them

uncomfortable but that the mother of
Jackson's accusor did, one time
snapping her fingers at them.

(ah-BOO-buh-kar) was attacked bby a pit
bull outside her home... she needed 18
stitches to close the wounds in her
legs.

Today, a general district court
judge fined the dog's owner ... Dennis
Devon Murphy ... fifty dollars for
allowing thte animal to run at large.

The judge also ordered the pit
bull destroyed.

Marquita MAR-keeta Muse says she was
putting away clothes in her Tinker
Creek Manor Apartment Friday evening,
when she heard a gunshot from the
kitchen.

She says she went downstairs and
discovered her four-year-old son,
Marshaun MAR-shawn had shot himself in
the right side of the head.

Marshaun was treated at the hospital.

He's now with his grandmother, and is
said to be doing okay.

airport.

The three men onboard survived and
are in good condition.

The plane was engulfed in flames

past weekend at Radford University and
Meg Khandan-Barani was part of the
Radford Girls Soccer team that came up
1 win short of a state title, but that
is not the end of her soccer career.

Khandan-Barani and her Radford
Bobcats lost in the state final to
Clarke County. Khandan-Barani tallied
at goal in the final and 2 in the
semi-finals. She was also a member of

including one from Radford University,
but she choose to go to V-C-U to play
just soccer in Richmond.

different cites both the Salem
Avalanche and Lynchburg Hillcats went
out on the road with similar results.
The Hillcats lost at Kinston 6 to 5 in
