nearly three-years, the video is also
valuable in court. This suspect -who
led police on a high speed chase- was
found guilty.
While there are times- the tapes come
into play- Furrow doesn't think this
will be one of them. She says because
of the angle the crash occurred it's
unlikely a camera would have been able
to pick up anything.

coming back to help raise money for his
scholarship foundation.

dollars has been raised in Roy's name
since his passing three years ago.
For the second straight year -
former Hokie and current Cleveland
Brown - Lee Suggs is coming back to aid
the cause.
Suggs grew up at Fleming with
Roy's two children.

Former Redskins Ron McDole and
Pat Fischer - who were such a big part
of last year's event will be back along
with another one of Roy's favorites -
Dell Curry.
Conflicts in the past two years
have kept the former NBA sharpshooter
from returning - but this year Curry
will be on hand.

Former Hokie and Major League
all-star Mike Williams also is expected
to tee it up for the first time this
year.

GRAPHIC=UVA To basketball where Dave Leitao hit
the ground running as the new head
coach of the University of Virginia
Basketball team, but it took quite a
while to finish his coaching staff, he
has finally done so. Leitao named
Steve Seymour an assistant coach for
the Cavaliers, he spent last season as
an assistant at LaSalle and will be
reunited with current U-V-A assistant
Rob Lanier who Seymour coached under at
Siena.

VO-NAT Speaking of reuniting how about Phil
Jackson and the Los Angeles Lakers.
The Zen master is returning to the club
that he lead to 3 championships.
Jackson was let go by the club almost a
year ago after the Lakers lost in the
N-B-A finals. That was the start of a
total turnover of the team, with Shaq
being traded to Miami and Kobe Byrant
being installed as the man in the
Lakers team. It didn't work the Lakers
missed the playoffs and that has lead
to Jackson coming back. Kobe and Phil
will have to try and get along better
than they were at the end of their last
run, when Jackson basically said in his
book, that Kobe was uncoachable, we'll
see if anything has changed.

the starting quarterback for Florida
State has been suspended by the school
as well as hospitalized. Sexton was
taken to a hospital after acting
strangely, which included, doing
push-ups in the middle of the street,
and calling himself God. Sexton was
suspended by the school 2 weeks ago for
a undisclosed team violation, Sexton's
father is the running backs coach for
the seminoles.

Hundreds of teenagers from across
the country are in the New River Valley
this week

homes for elderly and low-income
families.
The teens are part of the Group
Workcamps Foundation. They travel the
country helping the needy.
This week they are painting homes
inside and out and rebuilding porches.
