today for killing one of the girls'
mothers and burying her in the
backyard.

and 17-year-old Anastasia Belcher
pleaded guilty in December to fatally
stabbing Waddell's WAH-Dell's mother,
Vaughne Thomas, last May, and burying
her in the backyard.
They will be sentenced in Wythe
County Circuit Court.
Waddell pleaded guilty to
first-degree murder and three other
charges.
The maximum sentence for her four
felonies is life plus 70 years in
prison.
Belcher pleaded guilty to
second-degree murder as an accessory
before the fact, along with a number of
other charges.
She faces more than 50 years in
prison.

phone solicitation or other marketing

promisies a credit card that seems like
a great deal. Recently a Roanoke woman
was promised a "No Annual Fee" "No
Interest" Mastercard for $249.
Take- "Where's my card? Where's my After paying the fee there's nothing
$249?" left to do but wait for the great card-
that will never come.

backyard.

and 17-year-old Anastasia Belcher
pleaded guilty in December to fatally
stabbing Waddell's WAH-Dell's mother,
Vaughne Thomas, last May.
They will be sentenced in Wythe

Waddell pleaded guilty to
first-degree murder, grand larceny,
intimidation of a witness and
solicitation of murder.
The maximum sentence for the four
felonies is life plus 70 years in
prison.
Belcher pleaded guilty to
second-degree murder as an accessory
before the fact, plus intimidating a
witness, solicitation of murder, and
being an accessory after the fact to
grand larceny, which is a misdemeanor.
She faces more than 50 years in

car ran off the road on Route 220.
The accident that killed 34-year
old Amy Brogan happened yesterday just
two miles north of Fincastle.
State police are still
investigating the cause.
Witnesses say Brogan ran off the
road.

of speeding.
