Hillcats vs. Avalanche NAT :04
:00 The Avalanche was making some
music with their bats tonight.

Wilton Reynolds does a little
booming of his own, smoking this two
run homer deep over the left field wall
giving the Avs a 3-oh lead in the
second.

A little bit later, Scott
Robinson stands in and shows some power
of hiw own, ripping a solo shot the
opposite way to right field. Salem led
it 4-zip.

Just for good measure, Ervin
Alcantara delivered a base knock to
bring home Reynolds. *CG final Lynchburg Salem won it 5 to 1 over the Hillcats.

NBC Sports The shot of the day belonged to :00 Peter Jacobsen. At the par 3 ninth,
Jacobsen used a 7 iron, and I think he
likes it. This one goes right in the
jar for an ace. He fired a 69, but is
7 shots off the pace at 4-over.

Tiger isn't completely out of
it. Woods carded a 72 and sits 6 shots
back at 3-over.

Little known Nationwide Tour
player Jason Gore is in the hunt at
even par for the championship. Gore
will play in the final group tomorrow
with Goosen.

to go with a bogey and two doubles
today. Goosen is at 3-under par and
poised to win his 3rd Open title on

When the mother tiger refused to feed

A dog named Naida was the most suitable
candidate for wet nursing the two cubs.

Visitors to the zoo will be able to see
