The NBA is wrapping up the finals
and getting ready for the draft, but
today the league made its best move of
the month.

Commissioner David Stern
announced this afternoon a new six-year
collective bargaining agreement with
the players. This pact avoids a strike
and the type of disaster like the NHL
is experiencing.

The most important new nugget is
this - American players will now have
to wait one year after their high
school class graduates before they can
become draft eligible.
