OQ=...STILL WITH US TODAY << John Elway and Roy Stanley never
(END SOT) crossed paths except when Roy was

reading the highlights in a sportscast.

But Elways twin sister also died
of cancer as Roy did in 2002.

And when he joined forces with
Bassett Furniture - he fell into line
with this event as if it was destiny.

JOHN ELWAY

This Friday night at the Roanoke
College Bast center - folks will have a
chance to bid on one of Elway's
signature recliners. Bassett has
donated the $23 hundred dollar chair
that is featured in ESPN Zone
restaurants around the country.

JAY MOORE WALKING

Moore - is responsible for tying
Elway to the Roy Stanley Memorial
tournament - and he knows the dean of
sportscasters in the Commonwealth would
approve of the laid back leather way of
relaxing.
