Roanoke.

much of a problem stray cats are in
Roanoke.

So it recently conducted a survey

online.

One solution being considered would
make it illegal for cats to leave their
owner's property without being caged or
outfitted with a restraining device

They confirmed that that's where
shots came from this weekend.

One round penetrated Janet
McNair's home.

Mac Gilliland (GILL-uh-land)

shot in his direction, too.

The shot missed the lamp out
front but hit a car in the driveway.


McNair says it's a wake up call
for the neighborhood.

the mother of a boy who accidentally
shot himself with obstruction of
justice.

slightly hurt when he picked up a gun
earlier this month and accidentally

shot himself in the side of his head.

June 13 Police say the boy's mother,
Marquita Muse, lied to them about the
incident to protect her friend, who
owned the gun.

The friend has now been charged
with possession of a gun by a convicted
felon.

Police are NOT releasing his

were murdered on their way to a Rainbow
Family Gathering in West Virginia, the
group is returning to Pocahontas
County.

The loosely organized group was
planning to gather near Elkins, but the
U-S Forest Service said the area was
too environmentally sensitive.
