The news has prompted Taiwan to
re-imposse its ban on American beef
imports. Just two months ago the
country had lifted its ban on U. S beef
products after the first case of mad
cow disease was reported in the U.S in
2004. Prior to the first ban, Taiwan
imported more than 76 million dollars
in U.S beef and beef products in one

The news has prompted Taiwan to
re-imposse its ban on American beef
imports. Just two months ago the
country had lifted its ban on U. S beef
products after the first case of mad
cow disease was reported in the U.S in
2004. Prior to the first ban, Taiwan
imported more than 76 million dollars
in U.S beef and beef products in one
year.

service to about 400 homes.

Before the change takes place

protect their plumbing.

A local company recently sent
letters offering to do the work, but
mailed them to several hundred homes
that are NOT affected. Only those
residents who received letters directly
