Joe Gaskins' estranged wife, Veronica
Gaskins, swore out a warrant yesterday
afternoon alleging assault and battery.

The confrontation apparently happened
Monday morning at a home in Newport
News where the two got into an
argument.

Mrs. Gaskins told police that Joe
Gaskins pushed her.

She is alleged to have taken a tire
iron and smashed out windows and
headlights in his vehicle.

warrant, and no hearing had been

Joe Gaskins' estranged wife, Veronica
Gaskins, swore out a warrant yesterday

afternoon alleging assault and battery.

The confrontation apparently happened
Monday morning at a home in Newport
News where the two got into an
argument.

Mrs. Gaskins told police that Joe
Gaskins pushed her.

She is alleged to have taken a tire
iron and smashed out windows and
headlights in his vehicle.

warrant, and no hearing had been
scheduled.

Gaskins, swore out a warrant yesterday
afternoon alleging assault and battery.

The confrontation apparently happened
Monday morning at a home in Newport
News where the two got into an
argument.

Mrs. Gaskins told police that Joe
Gaskins pushed her.

She is alleged to have taken a tire
iron and smashed out windows and
headlights in his vehicle.

allegations made against its police
chief.

Newport News Police confirms that Chief
Joe Gaskins' estranged wife, Veronica
Gaskins, has sworn out a warrant
alleging assault and battery.

Mrs. Gaskins told police that Joe
Gaskins pushed her Monday morning at a
home in Newport News where the two got
into an argument.
