have been attacked by dangerous dogs in
recent weeks, including this four year
old girl.

Police officers have even had
to shoot some threatening dogs just

ended in a crash Wednesday evening.

Wednesday The short chase ended after a
black Cadillac struck a car driven by
61-year-old Jane Crouch of Vinton.

Crouch was transported to Roanoke
Memorial and has since been released.

Police say 30 year-old Carlos
Martin of Montgomery County was driving
the Cadillac and had two passengers.

27 year-old James Cornelius
Bobbitt, of Montgomery County and 22
year old Keith Leonard Sneed, from
North Carolina.

Police say all three suspects
inside the Cadillac have been charged
with intent to distribute cocaine.

Solesbee of Jarrett was arrested
Tuesday in Chesapeake after allegedly
robbing a wedding apparel store.

officially part of the Carilion Health
System.

money actually exchanged hands.
Carilion says the hospital's debts and
assets basically balanced out in the
deal. Carilion will own 80-percent of
the hospital --the hospital's
foundation will maintaining partial
ownership.

Steve Arner is serving as the
interim C-E-O and will assist with
integrating Stonewall into the Carilion
system.

Officials say patients shouldn't
expect any changes at this point.

Carilion says it's committed to
maintaining the hospital and even
expanding in the future.

that was found yesterday morning in
Lick Run Creek.

A worker noticed the body lying
in the culvert and called police.

There were no obvious signs of
foul play and no clear indication of

fire hydrant before coming to rest on
its side.

A column of water shot into the
air, as fuel spilled from a ruptured
gas tank.

Bystanders, including two mechanics
working nearby, helped pull the injured
driver to safety.

Employees of the Western Virginia
Water Authority eventually closed a
valve, and capped the geyser that had
flooded the street.

safety in mind.

treated for fireworks related injuries
every year.

Injuries to the eyes are some of
the most common.

Many of the victims are children
between the ages of five and nine.

If your eyes are injured, Doctor
Frank Cotter says it's important not to
rub them or try to rinse them. Instead
seek medical attention right away.
