be talking about the recent assaults at
the Terrace View Apartment complex in
Blacksburg.
Last week a female resident in
her twenties was assaulted in the
stairwell of her Terrace View
Apartment.
Fortunately, she fought him off.
Police say the attacker may have
struck again.
Another 20 year-old resident at
Terrace View was attacked early
Saturday morning.
They are looking for this man.
He's described as a white male,
early to mid twenties, brown or red
hair, and about six feet tall.

investigating an apparent
murder-suicide in the Sandy Level area.
Officials were called to
85-hundred Axton Road last night.
That's where they found the
bodies of 44-year-old Loree Hedrick and
33-year-old Scotty Helbert.
Authorities say it looks
like Helbert shot Hedrick before
turning the gun on himself.
The two had been living at the
residence for about six months.

win of 2005 for Toyota, and the first

On the same track earlier in the
day, the Indy Cars qualified for
Sunday's Argent Mortgage 300, and
rookie Danica Patrick continued her
storybook season with a pole winning
run. Patrick went 214.66 miles an hour
on her fast lap. She'll become just
the second woman in history to lead the
field to the green flag.

NBC Sports Venus Williams won the women's

She overcame an early deficit and
