a July 4th shooting that has turned

into a murder case.

Preston was shot several times around
nine last night in the 100 block of
17th Street Southwest.

Preston was taken to Roanoke
Memorial Hospital where he later died.

Witnesses say that Preston was
seen arguing with a group of people
before he was shot.
