double shooting.

It happened last night at a housing
complex in Northwest Roanoke.

outside the Lansdowne Apartments in the
28-hundred block of Salem Turnpike.

Investigators confirm the victims
were a man and a woman.

Their injuries were reportedly not
life- threatening.

suspects, but declined to give anymore
details.

announced it will shut-down its Roanoke
warehouse August 5th, and 15 other
facilities in the southeast by early
September.

The closings will leave

execuction of a Virginia death row
inmate.

41- year- old Robin Lovitt was
scheduled to be put to death last
night.

Lovitt was convicted of killing

shooting.

apartments in Roanoke thought they were
hearing fireworks late that night.

In reality, a man had been shot
and lay bleeding between two of the
buildings. Toby Preston died the next
day.

Police have been looking for
Irvin Pete Williams since late last
week.

Around 5:40 yesterday evening,
Williams turned himself in to face
charges of murder and use of a firearm
in commission of a felony.

Northwest Roanoke apartment complex.

Two people were shot outside
Lansdowne Apartments, but authorities
say their injuries were NOT believed to
be life threatening.

execuction of a Virginia death row
inmate.

41- year- old Robin Lovitt was
scheduled to be put to death last
night.

Lovitt was convicted of killing
another man during a pool hall robbery
in Arlington.

The stay will remain in place until
October, when the full court resumes.

her home Saturday evening.

She'd been a teacher in different
school systems in Maryland and Virginia
for more than thirty years.

Smith-Turner was appointed to the
school board in 2000, representing
District One.


Funeral services are scheduled for

Investigators confirm the victims
were a man and a woman. Their injuries
