can't ban adult businesses - however
they are deciding how to restrict where
those businesses can locate.

should deal with the arrival of an
adult bookstore.

Creek.

The store and the county
immediately started battling over video
booths where customers can preview
adult movies.

Monday night, the Board of
Supervisors passed a new ordinance
requiring booths to be near the front
of the store and in plain view.

Instead, it voted to give him

that they credited for serving one day
even though they didn't spend anytime

their condition.

(duh-PRAHN) was arrested April 12th
after police raided his home on Ridge
Avenue.

a hundred pictures featuring three
local children engaged in sex acts.

Investigators say the children
were between the ages of 9 and 15.

Dapron (duh- PRAHN) , who faces
other charges in Amherst County,
allegedly admitted to taking the

connection to an attempted abduction in
southwest Roanoke on Monday morning.

Officers were called to the 500
block of 13th street in southwest
Roanoke just after one o-clock Monday
morning, after four men allegedly tried
twice to adbuct an eight year old girl.

Officers later arrested Calisto
Romero Perez, Gregorio Perez, Francisco
Romero Roque and Zacarias Rojas Ruiz.

All four list Roanoke as home.

Police say the girl was not
injured, and that she does not know the
suspects.

The men are now out on bond.

Police aren't saying how the men
tried to abduct the girl.

out on bond on a robbery charge and
facing warrants for new charges when
police spotted him on Monday.

At one point a man mowing his own
lawn was almost hit by the suspect.

Police say Price got away because
the officer in pursuit was being
careful on some very busy N-R-V roads.
