systems go for the shuttle return to
space this afternoon.
NASA ran into a snag yesterday, when
a cover fell off a cockpit window and
damaged some of Discovery's thermal
tiles.
But NASA says the shuttle is now
ready to fly.
Discovery and its seven member crew
are heading on a mission to the
International Space Station.

that they're credited for serving one

police custody.

Roanoke just after one o-clock Monday

twice to adbuct an eight year old girl.

All four list Roanoke as home.
Police say the girl was not
injured, and that she does not know the

The men are now out on bond.

thunderstorms poses the biggest threat
to NASA's scheduled launch this
afternoon.
This will be NASA's first shuttle

cruiser shows exactly how he got away.

VO-NAT 19 year old Oren Lee Price was
out on bond on a robbery charge and
facing warrants for new charges when
police spotted him on MOnday.

At one point a man mowing his own
lawn was almost hit by the suspect.
Police say Price got away because
the officer in pursuit was being
careful on some very busy N-R-V roads.
