move a robbery case against 39 year old

Greg Todd Akers forward.

Akers is accused of abducting
Gregory Yopp and robbing him at
gunpoint back in April.

Yopp testified at a preliminary
hearing today that Akers stripped him
of his clothes and left him naked on
the side of a Montgomery County road.

The suspect snatched the 29-thousand
dollar, loose diamond similiar to this

According to Debi Malcolm, he dashed
out the front of the store, around the
back of the building, through a field-
to a waiting light-colored SUV in the
Walmart parking lot. That's where he
and a driver escaped.

Police arrived moments after they were

called.

about five-feet ten-inches tall,
weighing 180-pounds with short- close
cropped- blond hair.

We begin tonight in Scotland as
day one of the British open was
highlighted by a number of strong
performances and a stoppage of play.

Once play resumed Tiger Woods was
virtually unstoppable. He fired a
6-under round of 66 to take the lead
after the first round.

Tigers at one point made seven
birdies in a nine hole stretch. The
only thing he didn't do well was stay
out of sand. Still he played well to
grab a one shot lead over Mark Hensby.

Jack Nicklaus also stirred
memories of the days when he dominated
like Tiger does today.

The 65 year old birdied the first
hole, but finished with a 3-over 75 in
what is his final competitive
tournament.

will launch the space shuttle Discovery
this Sunday launch are slim to none.

An official with the shuttle program
says it looks like they have several
days of trouble-shooting ahead, to find
the cause of a fuel-gauge problem that
scrubbed yesterday's launch.

A vast engineering team is now
looking at what went wrong with the
sensor.

When Discovery does get off the pad,
it'll mark the first shuttle flight
since the "Columbia" tragedy two and
a-half years ago.
