He inherits a veteran team that
gave Gretna all it could handle in the
playoffs last season.

TNT As promised - the golfers stopped :00 what they were doing today and to a man
observed the two minutes of silence
memorial for the victims of last week's
terrorist attacks in the subway.

Once play resumed Tiger Woods was
virtually unstoppable. He fired a
6-under round of 66 to take the lead
after the first round.

Tigers at one point made seven
birdies in a nine hole stretch. The
only thing he didn't do well was stay
out of sand. Still he played well to
grab a one shot lead over Mark Hensby.

Jack Nicklaus also stirred
memories of the days when he dominated
like Tiger does today.

The 65 year old birdied the first
hole, but finished with a 3-over 75 in
what is his final competitive
tournament.

Last Year's Series Champion Kurt
Busch comes into this race having
struggled recently. He remains in the
Chase for the Championship but just
barely he is in 10th place in the
points. But his confidence should be
high this week having won both of the
races at New Hampshire a season ago.
