powerful message to the terrorists...

that will be on display throughout the

investigators work continuously...and

the attacks.

spend a year in prison for killing hs
wife last year.

Judge James Swanson sentenced
William Wallace Hurt to ten years in
prison for fatally strangling his wife,
Neva Hurt.

The judge suspended all but one
year of the sentence.

Neva Hurt suffered from
Alzheimer's disease.

Prosecutors say William Hurt also
tried to kill himself the same day by
placing a bag over his head.

When that failed, he struck
himself on the head with a hammer and
drank poison.

Judge Swanson is recommending that
the Virginia Department of Corrections
place Hurt in a medical unit.

a snatch- and- grab will lead them to a
29-thousand dollar diamond.

Yesterday afternoon a man walked
into the Ginger's Jewelry in
Christiansburg, claiming to be looking
for a diamond for his fiancee.

The manager says after sweating
profusely, the man took off on foot
WITH the more than two-carat gem.

She says he hopped into a waiting
light-colored SUV, and got away.

The manager says the business has
never had anything like this happen and
Ginger's will tighten security.

Lou Holtz.

loss of a football player for an entire
season due to an injury.

VO-NAT Cornerback Antonio Cromartie will

miss the entire 2005 season after he

tore a ligament in his left knee.

The injury occurred during voluntary
workouts down in Tallahassee.

Cromartie will have surgery next
week.

the Noles.
