a double shooting this morning are
actually the victims.

officers responded to 665-A Murray
Avenue and found a man with a gunshot
wound.

Officers say a short time later, a
second man who had also been shot,
arrived at Community Hospital.

Both victims are now being treated at
Roanoke Memorial Hospital.

GRAPHIC=Fatal Accident Two people were killed in an accident

early this morning in Grayson County.



State police say that 25- year old
William Christopher Bumgarner of Fries
and 30 year old Alison Elaine Shaw of
Galax - were riding in a Dodge truck at
12:15 a-m this morning.



The truck veered left off the road,
stuck the beginning of the bridge and

rolled over on its top, coming to rest
in a field-- killing both people.

has approved a plan that will relocate
the facade of a century old building
that's standing in the way of the
project.

County, where officials have approved a
controversial plan for a wind farm.

The board voted two to one in favor
of the project.

A developer from Harrisonburg wants
to build about 20 wind turbines along
ridges in the western part of the
county.

electricity to power more than
15-thousand homes.

Opponents say the turbines will
obstruct views and harm wildlife.

There's no word on when construction
will begin.

One lawsuit has already been filed
and more are expected.
