The plaque was placed at Disney's Soda
Fountain and Studio Store, next to the
historic El Capitan Theatre .

Officials say the new star can't be
pressed into the street itself, because
local by-laws don't allow commercial
names to be displayed.

Disneyland received the star in honor
of the 50th anniversary of the opening
of the original theme park near Los

Angeles.
