glasses.

The company breaks ground this
morning for a new bottling plant near
Wytheville, and one that should bring
250 new jobs to the Mountain Empire.

Parent company Pepsico already runs

a new bottling plant near Wytheville,
and one that should bring 250 new jobs
to the area.

The plant will serve as a manufacturing
and distribution center for both
Gatorade and Propel Fitness Water.
Parent company Pepsico already runs a
Pepsi bottling plant in Wythe County.

Virginia competed for the project
with North Carolina, Ohio, Florida, and
West Virginia.

fact- but over time has grown into a
tall tale.

Take- "Call or fax a number in the 809 The e-mail states that a scammer will area code " try to get you to call or fax a number

in the 809 area code by telling you
you've won a prize, you are in some
sort of legal trouble or that a loved
one needs help.
Take- "The number is a "pay per call" What people don't realize is that the number" number is a "pay per call" number in
the Bahamas.
Take- "You'll be charged $2,400 a The e-mail says you'll be charged minute while the scammer keeps you on $2,400 a minute while the scammer keeps the line" you on the line. You'll then rack up a
huge bill that will be very hard to
dispute since you did actually make the
call.

There is some truth to this e-mail, but
for once the scam isn't as bad as the
warning would imply. Acording to

to a blaze at the Y-M-C-A.

Officials say a small part of the
roof caught fire last night.

It was removed, and the flames
extinguished.

The building sustained minor
damage.

There were injuries, but no word
yet on what degree they were.

Officials say the fire was caused
by something hot that was too close to
a combustible object.

toast today with Gatorade in their
glasses. The company breaks ground this
morning for a new bottling plant near
Wytheville, and one that should bring
250 new jobs to the Mountain Empire.

The plant will serve as a manufacturing
and distribution center for both

Gatorade and Propel Fitness Water.
Parent company Pepsico already runs a
Pepsi bottling plant in Wythe County.
