apparent explosions today on a bus and
in the subways, just two weeks after a
series of deadly bombings there.

One injury is reported so far.

Closer to home, the White House says
it's monitoring the developing
situation in London.

But a Homeland Security spokeswoman
says there are no

immediate plans to raise the U- S
terror alert any higher.

driver in Baghdad today.

The kidnapping is the latest
targeting foreign envoys in

attacks near Baghdad have left 15
people dead.

In one attack, six soldiers were

are searching for a suspect in an
attempted murder.

Authorities say Walter "Freddie"
Richardson was involved in a stabbing
last night in Carroll County.

Officials say after the stabbing,
Richardson abducted two nearby
residents and forced them to drive him
to the Glade section of Wythe County.

Richardson was last seen wearing
a light colored t-shirt, and
authorities say he has an injury to his
head.

grown up after America first got to
know her as Kelly Bundy on T-V's long-
running comedy "Married with Children."

Since then she's starred in several
films, including "The Sweetest Thing"
and "Anchorman."

Now Applegate is making her mark on
Broadway.

She debuted in April in the starring
role of Charity Hope Valentine in the
revival of "Sweet Charity."
