began the first of three space walks
planned for the shuttle's flight
mission. We have a live picture to show
you.

TAKE LIVE SHOT FROM SPACE The astronauts will spend six hours in
space testing out two experimental
sealants that NASA hopes will help fix
the cracks on the spacecraft and
damaged shuttle tiles.
They also plan to do maintenance and
repair on the space station.
The next space walk is scheduled for
Monday.

years ago has lawyers arguing that
police used an illegal tactic to get
important evidence.
Now they want that evidence
against 58 year old Bob Shell thrown
out.

The photographer is accused of
giving a lethal dose of morphine to his
model and girlfriend, Marion Franklin.
In court yesterday, the defense
claimed a Radford detective sent emails
to Shell under a fake name to get
information about the night Marion
died.
Shell contends that's a violation
of his constitutional rights.
The defense wants any evidence
collected after the first email thrown
out.
A judge will consider the question next
month.

guilty Thursday of hiring a hitman to
kill his wife Lisa Thomas.
Yesterday, at the request of
Lisa's family, Commonwealth's Attorney
Joan Ziglar withdrew her request that
Thomas be put to death, leaving the
jury with just one choice..... life in
prison.

night on a roller coaster ride at
Disney's California Adventure theme
park.

"California Screamer" collided.
Apparently, one set of cars was waiting
to approach the loading/unloading
platform when it was rear-ended by
another set of cars that failed to stop

trying to determine the exact cause of

important evidence.
Now they want that evidence
against 58 year old Bob Shell thrown
out.

In court yesterday, the defense
claimed a Radford detective sent emails
to Shell under a fake name to get
information about the night Marion
died.
Shell contends that's a violation
of his constitutional rights.
The defense wants any evidence
collected after the first email thrown
out.
A judge will consider the question next
month.
