Station.

to a much larger facility but with the
new space, comes new financial needs.

Virginia Second Harvest Food Bank
called this building home.
But the organizaition was forced
to change locations after realizing the
old building wasn't up to standards.

However there have been a few
drawbacks.
The expansion means it takes more

As a result, the food bank is
asking for monetary donations as well
as food.

encouraged to donate.

Stores sell pre-packaged donation
boxes.
The boxes include a variety of
foods that can feed a family for a
couple of days.
After the food is donated, the
food bank distributes the packages to
charitable organizations, including the
Rescue Mission in Roanoke and the Boys
and Girls Clubs across Southwestern
Virginia.

construction companies spear- heading a
project to add four new lanes to the
325- mile highway.

made it to the Boy Scout Jamboree last
night --- after two failed attempts.
He offered his sympathies to the
families of four scout leaders
electrocuted earlier last week.
